Registration Deadline: 12:00 PM on the Friday before the class starts. Prerequisites: 4 years of age before the first class. Goal: Learn when and how to independently enter and exit the water, develop breath control, experience and gain comfort with buoyancy on the front and back, practice beginner arm and leg action on the front and back, prepare to safely participate in aquatic activities, learn how to recognize emergencies and call for help. All skills can be completed with support by the instructor.
