This weekend’s Elisha Winn Fair commemorates the community effort that saved one of Gwinnett County’s most significant historic places. The history of this property has many chapters. Its story reaches back to the Native peoples who first inhabited this land and includes the difficult history of slavery, as well as the beginnings of Gwinnett County and its government. Preserving the Elisha Winn House allows those stories, and the stories of the people connected to this place, to continue to be researched, remembered, and shared. This weekend, we celebrate the generations of Gwinnettians who worked to preserve this special place and ensure that its history was not lost. 48th Annual Elisha Winn Fair NEW DATES: Saturday, October 10 | 10 a.m.–5 p.m. Sunday, October 11 | 10 a.m.–5 p.m. Admission is FREE!
