Just as every Latinx country has its unique twist on ceviche, each of us experiences the journey of being a Latine/x graduate and professional student differently. Join Dr. Araceli López-Arenas as we come together to build community and share our unique "recipes" for handling challenges and celebrating strengths. We’ll discuss a variety of topics chosen by you, the participants, such as: imposter syndrome, professional development, self-compassion, thesis/dissertation writing, post-graduation plans, stress and anxiety, acculturation, family/cultural issues, factors impacting productivity, and strengths contributing to "ganas," persistence, and resilience. As ceviche ingredients come together to create something special, our shared experiences and diverse perspectives can help us thrive. It’s challenging to find time for our well-being, so let’s gather, share a bite to eat (light snacks provided), and support each other. Come as you are, for as little or as much time as you can! Join us on Mondays, 12:30-1:30pm.
