About this event
Care on the Corner (COTC), a ministry of Christ Church & St. John the Divine, Hackensack, is excited to offer our Fall Creations Part 1 NewARTS Kids Workshop. This program is for children ages 6 through 11. The kids will meet for three consecutive Tuesdays, September 29, October 6 and 13 at 4:00 pm. Under the direction of Debra M. Cook, art students will develop their knowledge of artist skills using a variety of visual arts media while working with Acrylic on Canvas, Oil Pastels, Watercolor Paints, Colored Pencils. NewARTS aims to inspire creativity with new mediums each week! The children will create an Eagle/Flag drawing and painting celebrating the country’s 250th anniversary, a fall reflection watercolor painting and a starry night painting on canvas. The group meets at the First Reformed Church at 300 Washington Place, Hasbrouck Heights. To register, call the Care Center at 201-288-9460. Space is limited to 12 children per class.
