Event Location · Upper Marlboro, MD

About this event

Increasing your yard’s ability to absorb water can reduce flood risks during heavy storms. Many stormwater-friendly landscaping techniques are beautiful and low maintenance, AND you can get reimbursed for some installation costs through the Prince George’s County Raincheck Rebate Program! Join us and our partners at the Chesapeake Bay Trust and Prince George's County Dept. of the Environment for a walking tour of Hyattsville properties that have used the Rain Check Rebate program and get ideas for your home. The 1 mile tour will run from 11 a.m.- 12:30 p.m. starting at Driskell Park. If you’re interested in applying for the Rebate program, staff from the Chesapeake Bay Trust will be at the Park from 10 – 11 a.m. for an application assistance workshop!
