About this event
Cosmic Contact encourages children and families to explore hands-on LEGO® challenges where they can build, test, and explore the wonders of outer space–one brick at a time. Visitors are encouraged to design space stations, discover alien worlds, engineer new inventions, and solve creative missions. Meteor Impact: Can your creation survive a meteor impact? Build your best spacecraft or structure, then put it to the test as a giant meteor comes crashing down! Watch the action replay in slow motion, rebuild, and see if your next design can withstand the impact. Mission control: Control your own space station & pretend you’re taking the helm of the Space Station. Explore colorful translucent LEGO® bricks on glowing light tables and create cosmic designs on the windows. Admire LEGO® mural created by LEGO® artist Jack Edison. Star Gate: Step through the Star Gate to the Research Station and enter a world where gravity works a little differently. Build on walls, overhead, and at every angle as you discover what it’s like to create in space in the Gravity Workshop. Cargo Bay: Stock up on LEGO® bricks, build your latest invention, and display your creation for fellow space explorers. Don’t forget to add to the ever-growing collaborative LEGO® mural! SpaceScapes: Perfect for the youngest space explorers! Build, stack, and explore with DUPLO® bricks. Photo credit: source
