Join us for a day of Victorian fun at our HMOC Open Houses of 2026! Enjoy fun Open House activities such as guided Docent and self led historic 1898 Kellogg House tours; self led nature walks through our 12 acre Museum grounds; demos from the OC Blacksmith Guild in our Blacksmith Shop and more! Our ongoing schedule of fun: Blacksmith Demonstrations Adobe Self-Guided Tours Farm and Nature Self-Guided Tours 11:00am-1:30pm Kellogg House Self-Guided Tours 1:30pm-2:30pm Kellogg Guided Tour w/Docent (depending on availability) Special Programs included FREE with Open House Admission! October 4th and 18th : “Portraits of a Living Past” a Solo Exhibit by Tai Nguyen (Opening Reception Oct 4th at 11:15am) Featuring a body of original drawings and paintings documenting and discovering historical space and atmosphere AND October 4th 12pm to 1pm: Community Stories Guest Speaker Series: “Preserving Family Legacies” with Naomi Knox, President of the Santa Ana Canyon Historical Council explaining why their membership organization is dedicated to preserving the local and indigenous history of Orange County and how you can be involved. Tickets can be purchased at the gate the day of. —————————————————————————————————————————– **Entrance to the Museum for non-members: Your HMOC Open House admission allows you full entrance to the Museum grounds, self led Kellogg House tours during the hours that Docent led tours are not occurring as well as exterior Museum activities during the entirety of the Museum Open House hours of 11am to 3pm! Members | Free Children ages 3 and under | Free Children ages 4-13 | $5 Adults age 55+ | $10 Adults | $15 Museums for All | $2 Through Museums for All, those receiving food assistance (SNAP benefits) can gain free or reduced admission to more than 1,600 museums throughout the United States simply by presenting their EBT card and a photo ID. HMOC is a site and supporter of Museums for All. Passport 2 History | $1 off admission Discover & Go | One pass per person As always one of the benefits of being an HMOC Member is FREE entry to Public Hours and HMOC Events !
