“Hopper’s Nyack” Adult Plein Air Painting Workshop Date & Time: Sunday, October 18, 2026 | 12:30 PM – 5:00 PM (Rain Date: Sunday, October 25, 2026) Location: Edward Hopper House Museum & Study Center Description: An intensive outdoor painting masterclass co-taught by artists Susan Chen , Heidi Howard , and Susanna Coffey . Includes hands-on painting instruction followed by a mini-critique and reception in the Museum Garden. Whether you are looking to refine your outdoor painting technique or energize your studio practice into nature, this workshop provides tailored instruction, dynamic and expressive strategies, and an encouraging setting. Cost: $200 Members | $250 General Public Pre-registration deadline: October 7, 2026. Limited to 20 artist participants. SCHEUDLE 12:30 PM: Meet at Edward Hopper House Museum (after lunch) 1:00 PM – 4:00 PM: Outdoor painting class 4:00 PM – 5:00 PM: Students share their work with the group (mini critique) with drinks in the Museum Garden Total duration: 4.5 hours Supplies: Students bring their own painting supplies Susan, Heidi & Susanna to provide a materials shopping checklist for students to refer to ahead of time
