About this event
Join the Reading Terminal Market Ambassador Program and help welcome visitors, share your love for the Market, and contribute to its vibrant community. Serving as an Ambassador is a light lift and a great way to stay connected to the heart of Philadelphia. Whether you’re a regular or new to the Market, becoming an Ambassador is simple, fun, and flexible. About the Ambassador Program Ambassadors will serve as Market volunteers – helping visitors navigate the Market, along with sharing what they know and love about both Reading Terminal and Philadelphia. How to become an Ambassador Once you’ve applied online – you will hear back from our program coordinator to learn more about the program structure and volunteer scheduling process. Are there specific requirements? No! We welcome anyone from Philadelphia and the tri-state area. Any age and all walks of life are welcome! Ambassadors cover the peak times of the day in 2 to 3 hour shifts. Once fully onboarded, there is an electronic scheduling process for the volunteer shifts. During your time on the Market floor you will be posted in RTM’s Center Court or the Welcome Center (Information Desk on 12th Street).
