NEW FOR THE 2026-2027 SCHOOL YEAR! Neighborhood Naturalist visits have been a treasured addition to Little Lakers for years. This year, we’re expanding our partnership with the Neighborhood Naturalist program to all day on Tuesdays and Thursdays! We’ll bring Little Lakers’ play-based approach together with Neighborhood Naturalist’s emergent curriculum/nature play model. Through outdoor play and exploration, we’ll get curious, creative, solve problems, and practice daily life skills. We’ll learn from, with, and in nature! Little Lakers is a strong and respected preschool program which has been operating at Lake Hiawatha Park since 2008. Children must be bathroom independent. Children need to bring a lunch and drink (a 16oz water bottle is recommended) daily. Please send a change of clothes that can be left at school. If you need to extend your day, check out Pre-K Getaway, an after-preschool session from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm. Preschool will be closed on the following dates: October 14, 15 & 16 (MEA break) and November 25, 26 & 27 (Thanksgiving break.)
