Girdle of Judith rocks hard with a powerful baritone guitar sound, vocals that are as guttural as they are vulnerable, ripping bass lines, and in-your-face drums. The intensity of Alma’s songwriting style will light a fire within you. Girdle’s combination of hardcore counterpoint and weeping melodies provides the audience with an unforgettable live music experience. Taking influence from PJ Harvey, Hole, Liz Phair, and Neko Case- Girdle of Judith’s set serves as a cathartic release with no room for the mundane. Robyn Jamner (they/she) is a genderfluid, genrefluid songwriter and poet. They approach songwriting much like the paleontologist they wanted to be as a kid: digging deep and assembling whatever they find. Robyn plays around the Twin Cities with her live band, the Soft Skills, a dynamic group of performers with influences that range from jazz to folk to shoegaze. 1947 (out loud “nineteen forty seven”) is an Indie Rock trio based in Minneapolis, MN. We’re self described as “Three indie/punk/noise… rock musicians having fun on their instruments”.
