Explore the future of Buffalo’s waterfront — and end the evening with a pint at BriarBrothers. The Western New York Land Conservancy is hosting free one-hour walking tours of The Riverline, sharing the vision for transforming the former DL&W rail corridor into a remarkable new public space along the Buffalo River. After the tour, the conversation continues right here at the BriarBrothers taproom. Tours take place on October 7, 2026, from 5:30 to 6:30 PM. Meet in the parking lot at Red Jacket Riverfront Natural Habitat Park at the foot of Smith Street. Wear sturdy shoes and dress for the weather — long pants and long sleeves are recommended, as the route can pass through thick vegetation. The tours are free, but registration is encouraged through Eventbrite . Take the walk, see what’s coming to the neighborhood, then join us at 50 Elk Street to talk it over with a beer in hand.
