John Grimes was born and raised in South St. Louis. He had a rough life growing up, but he and his family always found a way to get a laugh out of their situation-an early inspiration. He graduated from Eureka High School and went on to attend Purdue University. It was in college he realized he had a different calling after watching Eddie Murphy’s “Raw” for the first time. John decided to move to LA, leaving Purdue to pursue standup comedy. It was a tough road, but he made it to LA and never looked back! His humor is thought-provoking and energetic, and he provides a unique perspective on everyday life as only he could. You’ll never look at things the same after hearing his thoughts.
