About this event
This bird walk is all about enjoying nature and birds. It’s about walking slow, being mindful and looking for birds and then spending time truly watching their behaviors. It’s not about the number of birds we see, but it’s about appreciating the birding experience. Birding is a treasure hunt and we will take delight in whatever we encounter. El Rio Preserve is riparian habitat for nesting and migratory birds located in Marana, Arizona. Beginners are welcome! Limited to 10 people Leader: Peggy Steffens **Registration for Tucson Bird Alliance Members is free. Non-members can join this field trip for a non-refundable fee of $5.** Trip difficulty: Easy. 1 -1.5 miles on mostly flat surfaces with some uneven terrain. Trip duration approximately 2.5 – 3 hours.
