About this event
Market Day is a beloved annual Newtown tradition, bringing together the community and visitors from across Bucks County in the historic borough streets. The event celebrates the colonial tradition of local farmers and homesteaders coming to town to sell their crops, livestock, and handmade goods to neighbors. Over the years, Market Day has evolved to showcase high-quality fine art, handcrafted goods, and artisan foods while honoring its historic roots. This family-friendly event features colonial-era demonstrations, reenactments, and hands-on activities, along with live music across two stages. Guests can also enjoy an inviting dining area featuring local restaurants, food trucks, and artisan bites.
