English Masters of the Theater and Court—Lauda Musicam Baroque Orchestra

St. Bartholomew's Episcopal Church · McDonough, GA

About this event

By the end of the 17th century, a growing middle class created a demand for musical and theatrical productions, while the availability of sheet music and instruments in shops resulted in a more musically-literate society. Lauda Baroque will perform selections by Henry Purcell, John Blow, and George Frideric Handel—three of the central figures in 17th and 18th century England—while also paying homage to other composers who helped bring music to the masses. Suggested donation of $20; no one turned away. For more information: Jody Miller, Music Director email: director@laudamusicam.org https://laudamusicam.org/
