The Georgia State University Symphonic Wind Ensemble invites audiences on a musical journey across continents and cultures with Transcontinental Treasures. The program opens with Benjamin Horne's Kingdom (2024), conducted by Jacob Brown, followed by movements two and four of Zhou Tian's expansive Sinfonia (2022). The concert continues with Luigi Zaninelli's tender Lagan Love and concludes with Ida Gotkovsky's dramatic Poème du Feu — a work of blazing orchestral color and virtuosic brilliance.
